Overview

Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin invites the public to view “Visual Perspectives of Louisiana,” an exhibition created by the Louisiana Photographic Society on display at Louisiana’s Old State Capitol. “Visual Perspectives of Louisiana” is a juried exhibition of 81 unique perspectives of the state, from its culture and architecture to native flora and fauna. The exhibit will be on display from July 12 through October 15, and an opening reception will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 5:30 p.m.

The mission of the Louisiana Photographic Society is to advance and promote the art of photography in the River Parishes of south Louisiana. To help achieve this goal, the Louisiana Photographic Society offers members a variety of programs, classes, seminars, and field trips throughout the calendar year. All photographs displayed in the exhibit will be available for purchase in the gift shop.
