This program is being held in conjunction with our Free First Sunday programming.
Faye Phillips’ latest book, Historic Magnolia Cemetery, is a joint project with co-author Chip Landry, Chairman of the Magnolia Cemetery Board. They will be on hand Sunday, February 2 beginning at 2 P.M. for a book signing and a talk about the Battle of Baton Rouge. The battle took place during the Civil War in Magnolia Cemetery and resulted in the Yankee occupation of the Old State Capitol.
