Overview

The Associated Women in the Arts, founded in 1980 as a professional organization of artists from south Louisiana, will be exhibiting works by its members in celebration of the 200th anniversary of John James Audubon’s arrival in Louisiana.

Inspired by the exhibit, Baton Rouge Audubon Society Educator Jane Patterson will present a virtual talk that will intrigue birding experts and provide a good starting point for beginners. Jane Patterson’s virtual presentation will touch on what is needed for successful birdwatching, how to attract more birds to your yard, and what it means for us to be located on a major migratory route along the Mississippi Flyway.
