September will feature an entirely new storyline with exciting animals for your children to meet in "Grits' Grand Adventure!"
Hang on tight! Grits is taking us rafting down the Mississippi as he hunts for a new place that Mama Roux and her babies can call home. Help him navigate a singing frog, a biting alligator, and a sleek river otter all before he lands on the most prime real estate of all — an old Cajun's backyard!

This event ties directly into the museum’s current traveling exhibits: "Excursions, Expeditions, and 'Discoveries:' A Young Nation Expands" and "Reimagining America: The Maps of Lewis and Clark."
