A powerful story of love, resilience, and family, plus Mother's Day crafts at the castle!

Join us at Louisiana's Old State Capitol for a special screening of Fall Seven Times: Get Up Eight: The Japanese War Brides. This moving film shares the true stories of Japanese women who built new lives in America after World War II.

After the screening, families are invited to stay for a talk with film creator, Karen Kasmauki and Mother's Day crafts. It's an afternoon that connects history, culture, and family across generations.

This event is supported by the United States-Japan Foundation.

Admission is free, but please register so we know to expect you!
