In honor of the 200th anniversary of the arrival of famed naturalist and painter John J. Audubon to Louisiana, the Associated Women in the Arts (AWA) will host a member art exhibition to celebrate Audubon’s influence upon our state. Held at the Old State Capitol from April 7 – May 29, 2021 the exhibit will feature the beautiful homes, varied landscape, vast wildlife, and festive atmosphere of Louisiana. Join AWA at the opening reception Thursday, April 8, 5:50-7:30, 100 North Boulevard, Baton Rouge.

The Associated Women in the Arts is a statewide non-profit organization with a mission to advance the cause of women artists by creating opportunities for education, exhibition, and fellowship. The organization will strive to assist the cause of the visual arts throughout the state.
